A few more words about this course

This course teaches the RadRay Model of GPR.  The model is a simplified representation of the physics of GPR. We developed it so it could be used as a tool in the field to interpret the radar data. Armed with this tool, the technician can make sense of what they see on the screen. This is the foundation of everything else GPR that is thought in this training.
We built the RadRay Model with one objective - to help GPR-C Technicians succeed in the field. Anything that doesn't move us towards that objective has been omitted. We begin the course with a quick overview of electromagnetic waves. From there, we build our model step by step.

Other training courses and material mostly treat GPR as waves which severely limits their ability to correctly explain the characteristics of radargram shapes. Our approach is to treat GPR as
radar rays, hence RadRay. This makes GPR much more intuitive, and it can explain every shape characteristic in detail.
